Privacy Policy

Poly Data Signals ("the app", "we", "us") is operated by Jacob Hsu. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
In short: we collect the minimum needed to run your account and deliver your alerts. We do not sell your data, we do not run ads, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
What the app does
Poly Data Signals monitors publicly available trading activity of top-performing traders on Polymarket and notifies you when several of them take the same position, according to parameters you choose. The app is informational only. It does not execute trades, hold funds, accept wagers, or connect to your Polymarket account or any wallet.
Information we collect
Account information. Your email address and password, used to create and secure your account. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes by our authentication provider — we never see or store your actual password. Optionally, a display name if you set one.
Notification settings. Your choices about how you want to be alerted (in-app, Telegram, push), and where to send them:
- If you enable Telegram alerts, the numeric Telegram chat ID you provide.
- If you enable push notifications, a device subscription managed by our push provider, linked to your account by an internal account identifier.
Content you create. The signal "plans" you configure (your chosen parameters and plan names), the signals those plans generate, and any record of whether you acted on a signal.
Technical and usage data. Standard server and service logs — such as IP address, device/browser type, and timestamps — generated when you use the app. These are used for security, debugging, and keeping the service running.
We do NOT collect: payment card details (any future purchases would be handled by Apple, which does not share your card information with us), location data, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
- To run the signal plans you configure and to deliver the resulting alerts by the channels you chose.
- To show you your own history and performance analytics.
- To send essential account emails (address confirmation, password reset). We do not send marketing email.
- To operate, debug, and secure the service, and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent it.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers strictly to operate the app. They process data on our behalf:

Market data comes from Polymarket's public APIs. This is outbound only — no personal information about you is ever sent to Polymarket, and the app is not affiliated with or endorsed by Polymarket.
Data retention
- Account data is kept while your account exists.
- Your plans, signals, alerts and trade records are kept while your account exists, because they are your history and your performance record.
- Market/trader activity data collected to detect signals is short-lived and automatically deleted on a rolling basis (approximately 8 days).
- Logs are retained for a limited period for security and debugging.
When you delete your account, the data associated with it is deleted (see below).
Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time from within the app, under Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and its associated data, including your plans, signals, alerts, notification settings and Telegram chat ID, and unsubscribes your devices from push notifications.
This is permanent and cannot be undone. If you prefer, you can instead simply turn off all notification channels in Settings and stop using the app.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can exercise deletion directly in the app, and you can contact us at support@polydatasignals.com for anything else. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security
Access to your data is restricted at the database level so that you can only read and modify your own records. Connections use HTTPS. Credentials and API keys are held in server-side secret storage and are never exposed to the app running on your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.
Children
The app is not directed to children and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@polydatasignals.com and we will delete it.
No investment advice
Poly Data Signals provides information about publicly observable market activity. It is not financial, investment, or trading advice, and nothing in the app is a recommendation to enter any transaction. Prediction markets involve risk, including total loss. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date at the top, and where appropriate we will notify you in the app.
